Sogrape's Supply Chain achieves a remarkable milestone in Sustainability

We are proud to share that the Supply Chain Department of Sogrape in Portugal, within the framework of the roadmap of the Global Sustainability Approach, Seed the Future, has achieved a very important milestone in reducing the carbon footprint in the distribution of our wines.

Following a strategic and proactive analysis of our distribution routes, and in a joint effort between customers and carriers, it was possible to assess current emissions, costs, and lead times and decrease carbon emissions by 70% in the transportation of goods between Portugal and Italy!

With this new scenario, there is a significant reduction in CO2 emissions, an achievement made possible by the collaboration and integration of processes between Sogrape and its customers.

A very important step towards achieving global Sustainability goals throughout the value chain of our business towards a healthier planet.
